So here are my final images for my Degree Show.
Going to miss this college a lot….
My studio spaces at school and uni have always become part of my work in a sense if i have to sit at a desk i need to surround myself with images that will contribute to my working ideas….i don’t think i could ever work in an office….
Using the 10x8 in the studio, mirror to help me view my body and help with my composition. Placing my photos on the wall so i can view them to help me make the next one better!
I have become strangely attached to the 10x8, it has been so much fun using it and after learning the ins and outs i have become a lot more confident with it.
I am defiantly considering buying one…just need some money first!
Portrait of my friend Louisa - Taken on Toyo 10x8 Using Paper Neg
So here is the positive made by just inverting the colours on photoshop.
These are just the first tests!
At the moment i am just getting used to using a 10x8 Toyo. These are the first tests which will hopefully result in a happy relationship with the camera.
I was looking for a medium where i could push out self portraits quickly as i know its going to take me a while for them to really turn in to anything. So instead of using film i am exposing my self portraits onto paper, this creates a negative, once scanned and inverted it is then turned into a positive.
The photo you see here is a negative in paper form.
